"TRUANCY"...THE PLAY
"Truancy" was created in 2000 while Sandra worked with Young Filmmakers Foundation. She wrote and copyrighted the play. The play has been performed several times in Memphis at the Rose Theatre before audiences of several hundred.
"Truancy" is a three act play that deals with youth skipping school, how they spend their day and the consequences of this action. The author who is a school teacher does not support or glamourize skipping school except for documented family emergencies, illnesses, etc.
